My phone reminded me of a memory last year. A hackathon project we made at Formlabs North Carolina was featured in Hackaday
For my summer internship last year. I was at Formlabs North Carolina (FLNC) and every year, the company schedules a hackathon. Since it was the first year of participation for FLNC, we had to do something amazing. So we built a 3D printer that would print out of sheets of plywood
I was mostly involved in the pneumatics and electronics integration of this project. Although most of this was off the shelf hardware, getting them to work together in 2 days was the trick. The Glue Squirter was the trickiest of them all since it was controlled by a solenoid valve as well which limited our control on how much glue we wanted to squirt.
